A solar-powered garden ornament in a novelty figure design, hand-painted in bright colours and sized to sit comfortably in a border, on a patio, or on an indoor windowsill.
The figure is finished by hand, which accounts for the level of colour and detail you will find on it; no two are quite identical. It runs entirely on solar power, so there is no wiring and no battery to replace, and it will hold its charge through a reasonable British summer day well enough to do its job come dusk. The resin construction is fully weatherproof and waterproof, so it can stay out through the seasons without needing to come in.
Placement is worth thinking about. The solar panel needs a reasonable amount of daylight to charge, so a spot that catches the sun for a good part of the day will serve it better than a shaded corner. It will sit equally well in a flower bed, beside a pond, on a lawn, in a rockery, on decking, or on a patio; indoors, a sunny windowsill works well.
Solar-powered; no wiring or mains connection required
Hand-painted resin construction; fully weatherproof and waterproof
Suitable for outdoor and indoor use
Dimensions: approximately 9cm x 21cm
Suitable for borders, rockeries, patios, decking, pond-side positions and windowsills
Charge performance depends on available daylight; position in a well-lit spot for best results
In our experience, the most common mistake with solar ornaments is placing them somewhere that looks right but receives too little direct light; move it once if the first spot does not perform. A wipe down at the start of the season keeps the panel clear and the colours looking as they should.
